Contacting the IRS in this day and age can be truly harrowing these days, with courtesy drops, limited access, and the usual “human element” of dealing with any of our public agencies, yet alone one with the might and reach of one such as Internal Revenue. Some documentation, it is the representative’s job to find a reason to reject that particular form. Therefore, it is a good idea to not use pictures of documents taken with your cell phone).
Now that you have your game plan, and the materials you may need ready to be dispatched at moments notice, you are ready to confidently inquire about your situation, and begin resolving your issue. You may also want to study the Internal Revenue Manual (IRS guide to how they are required to handle certain matters, and the conduct allowed by its representatives).
